Hallo Jakarta!

Good old Jakarta,
If it's not because of the traffic it's actually a very interesting place to visit. Yea but that is just a wishlist...

This time I didn't visit for leisure so I didn't get to do much loitering around the mall. I went to the newly open uniqlo and that's about it as far as mall goes

Other time my dad, me and my brother go for a drive to Bogor and did abit of off track driving

Ate at a hut shaped restaurant that look super dodgy

Hangout with my extended family,

my cat

My dog

And that's it really....not so eventful

Love Garage Jakarta

In January i went to what so called Love Garage in Jakarta, im not sure what are the promoter thinking to be exact. If it is supposed to be a music festival or just concert with several acts.

The line up was great from amazing local bands to international act like Ryksopp and Alex Metric, however the crowds are just dissapointing, they are waaaay to conservative and not in the party mood. I met up with few Aussies and ended up joining their party crowd, the locals was basically staring at us as we go bit banana but hey thats how you supposed to party in a music festivals.  It was sad that the DJ have to get the crowd dancing and no one even dance to it veryyyyyy saddddd.....

I have been to several music festival in Australia and Europe and i think Jakarta got the market and the idea for it just need to pass on the ideas to the attendees.

Le Meridien Jakarta Indonesia

Jakarta is a very busy city, extremely overcrowded and not the cleanest place you could visit. However if you are a shopaholic and foodie you might like Jakarta as the city have numerous amount of shopping centres, loads of shops and restaurants. I have to admit that the new shopping mall is very impressive in terms of the shops qualities and designs.

To escape the buzz i've decided to stay at Le Meridien in the Jalan Jendral Sudirman, a five star hotel with amazing pool and service.

The pool is amazing with traditional javanese feel and its not crowded at all so it feels like your own private swimming pool.

I then got upgraded to Starwood Preferred Guest floor with an amazing view of the city. The building right across me happened to have a light show at 7pm

Every Girl love to being pampered so i've decided to pamper myself to a nice Jacuzzi and 55 minutes traditional massage (urut)

To end my stay a nice bottle of Veuve Cliquot on the pool side is just a bliss....

Love xxx
